Held at Nobbys Beach on 21-22 February the Newcastle Now High School Team Challenge features both boys and girls divisions. This event is open to all NSW High Schools.
This is a great event for the surfers to enjoy the experience of the contest in a team format. The bonus points for teams that finish within the allocated heat time is a major component to a teams success.
Surfest organiser Warren Smith said, “This Newcastle Now High School Team Challenge is a popular contest and is a vital part of the promotion and ‘career path’ structured within the festival. ”
